The Kitsap Outdoors Meetup Group is an outdoors group dedicated to bringing introductory hikes, snow travel, camping, backpacking, and biking to the citizens of Kitsap County. Starting where the Clear Creek Trail leaves off, we know our area parks and the Olympics , and Mount Rainier . Our site will also sometimes provide calendar listings for Kitsap's Peninsula Wilderness Club , Monday Hikers , and other groups as we become aware of their events . If you want to get out and explore the wilderne …
… **Remember that while we are quite conservative about safety, every outdoor activity involves some potential risk. You attend these outings at your own risk and responsibility. We are not professional guides nor are most of us first responder qualified.** Activities Calendar (toolbar says meetups; then choose calendar) is a great way to get an idea of our activities. Organizers write up all the details about the activity on the calendar page for member reference, but we can't always guarantee …
We're a random assortment of people who enjoy the Pacific Northwest's incredible outdoor recreation opportunities including Hiking, Backpacking, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Snowshoeing, Skiing, Snowboarding, Whitewater Rafting, Alpine Scrambling and Climbing. While not outdoors we enjoy things like watching movies and sipping coffee, ale, wine or spirits while trying to sound intellectual and stuff. As a rule of thumb: If it's fun and mostly safe, we ought to be doing it! For more information inc …
… I want the outdoor activity events to be fun for all who participate. I have been an avid Rugby fan for many years and have even played the sport several times in my youth.
Let's get together and enjoy the beauty of the Northwest! As the group name implies, I am a newbie myself. I am organizing this group for those who like to start hiking, camping, kayaking, snowboarding, walking, backpacking, bicycling and more fun activities. Please feel free to set a meet-up event. Carpool to any of the events are encouraged. We could split-up the cost of gas. Disclaimer: I am not a professional guide and do not have certified training or insurance. As you are aware, inherent …

I decided to start this group because I love to snowboard and want to find other LBGT snow sport enthusiasts. Whether you are gay, lesbian, queer, bi or transgender and like to ski, snowboard, snowshoe or enjoy any other outdoor winter activity, then you are encouraged to join us.
Welcome! Our hiking group is large and diverse, with regular well attended hikes. Some are quick, short hikes close to the city, while others are on less-traveled hiking trails a bit further off the beaten path. We also have regular dragon-boat practices on Lake Union with the Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club four times per week. Dragon-boating is a great way to get in shape, meet new people, and have fun outdoors year round no matter what the weather is like! For more info on dragon-boating, …
Anyone who enjoys being outdoors should feel free to join our group. I often hike alone but have found that it is more enjoyable to have friends along. There are many more things that a hike (although I find hiking a great relaxing time). If you have ever wanted to try something new I am sure there are many others …

This is a group that gets together 2 to 3 times a month to go kayaking from the Northwest Outdoor Center off Lake Union. This is a great way for people to get together and get out there and enjoy the sport of kayaking along with getting a good work out. Also, how fun would it be to hit the Red Door for drinks after an evening kayak or hit a great place for breakfast after a weekend morning paddle?
The Seattle Bocce League is hands down the EASIEST and MOST FUN way to meet new people and make new friends in Seattle. Bocce is that game where you try to get the big balls close to the little white ball. 1) You don’t have to have any experience; most people have no idea how to play when they start in our league. Next thing you know they are experts. 2) Anyone can play!!! Regardless of your athletic ability, gender or skills you WILL HAVE FUN IN OUR LEAGUE without breaking a sweat!!! ( NO SWEAT …

I started this group because I love softball and noticed there didn't appear to be an official Seattle area softball meetup page. My co-ed team has been playing together for 3 years now and we've been having trouble lately finding and securing players, especially females, to commit to seasons. One of the teams that I am on currently plays through the underdog league in Seattle (www.underdogseattle.com). I would like to use this meetup to schedule our team's games and practices and have team mem …
