About Us Palmetto Paddlers, Inc. is a canoe and kayak club based in Columbia, SC. Its purposes are to: encourage exploration, conservation and preservation of recreational waterways, forests, parks, and wildlife; promote enjoyment and appreciation of wilderness cruising and whitewater sports; and promote safety and proficiency in rescue/self-rescue techniques.
