I am a mom involved at my chilren's elementary school in Nuevo (between Perris and Hemet). The purpose for me organizing this group is too help raise funds for the kids science camp for catalina. We have an Annual 5k run. All those who enjoy running or walking please come out.

Valley Center, although a great place to live, can be isolating at times. We do not always get the amenities that we enjoy without having to drive. I am starting this group to accommodate that Yoga niche for us locals. Of course this group is open for everyone! My classes are primarily a Vinyasa style of Yoga. Hope to see you all soon!

This group is for experienced hikers who are interested in hikes of 6-12+ miles and that will generally have significant elevation gain, anywhere from 1000-5000 feet. While hikes may be challenging, they will be done at a moderate pace which will allow the group to take in the scenery and not just go from point A to point B. We're a group of folks (baby boomers or close to that age range) that like to bike around the area for fun and some exercise. The San Luis Rey River Trail, the Pacific Coast, Camp Pendelton and the trail from Las Pulgas to San Onofre will be our primary routes. No big hills, no competition.
