This group was created to cater to adults who love to hike, love the outdoors and want to do anywhere from 2-6 miles at a moderate pace. "Our goal is to empower women to become an integral part of the sailing community. We support female sailors of all skill levels. Yes, we have men in our club, too. We will offer a variety of social and sailing events. Events will include member meetings, presentations by experienced sailors, wine, music dock parties and of course lots of sailing.  Skippers, both men and women are especially encouraged to join us so they can invite us to crew.

… We welcome newcomers as well as experienced "outdoorspeople" of all ages, as long as you're reasonably self-sufficient.  We require that any members attending overnight hikes must be currently certified in CPR and at least basic first aid.  We will go to the mountains, the deserts, in all kinds of conditions, so bring your common sense and a good attitude!
