This group is open to any rock climbers, hikers, or mountaineers who want to explore the beautiful mountains and crags of Switzerland. Beginners, bouldering, sport, trad, and alpine climbers all welcome. We try to organize a climbing outing at least once a week during the summer, including single-and multi-pitch routes, adventure hikes, and via ferratas. Our outings take us all over Switzerland (it is a small country!), so you do not need to be a Bern "local" to join. We are also a very loosely …

This MeetUp is a way for fellow intermediate tennis players to find each other. There are many of us who have enough flexibility in our schedules to play during the week when court availability is cheaper and more plentiful. Therefore, the MeetUps that I organize will be during the week. However, any member is free to organize a meetup at any other time as well. This meetup is for intermediate level players only. We like to be a bit strict in that so that we are always guaranteed a good challeng …

This a group for anyone interested in skiing or snowboarding. All abilities welcome, but I cannot provide tuition. I set up this group as there was no ski group for Basel, and I would like to make some ski buddies (this is my first winter in Switzerland) in the area! The aim will be for meet ups most weekends - short ski trips to Swiss Alps, Vosges or Black forest. The Focus initially will be on downhill skiing (snowboarders welcome), I ski mostly on piste but would like to get more off piste ex …

This is a group for anyone who knows (or wants to know) the Zurich district of Oerlikon. Ideally you live/work in Zurich/ Oerlikon so we can meet up and check out the area and organize events depending on weather conditions. I started this group because quite a lot of people are working/living in Oerlikon who do not know each other but stay/live near by. This group is for everyone, especially expats who wish to share their "specific" Oerlikon experiences with other "Oerlikonien".
